Inter-Agency Implementation and Advanced Concepts (IMPACT/ST11) Kaylin Bugbee, Deborah Smith, Stephanie Wingo and Emily Foshee’s article, ‘The Art of Scientific Curation,’ was selected for inclusion in the Nov/Dec Eos print edition. Eos is a source for news and perspective about Earth and space science, including coverage of new research, analyses of science policy, and scientist-authored descriptions of their ongoing research and commentary on issues affecting the science community.
The Nov/Dec double issue edition celebrated the year of open science and included an exploration on how open science is making data more accessible. ‘The Art of Scientific Curation’ highlights the importance of scientific curation in an open science environment to provide context and clarity, making information, software, and data more findable and useful.
