IMPACT team members Muthukumaran Ramasubramanian and Vishal Perekadan served as organizers for the IEEE GRSS third workshop on Remote Sensing Data Management Technologies in GeoScience (RSDM – GeoSci) 2023. The hybrid workshop was hosted at the International Computer Science Institute at the University of California, Berkeley on 7/7/23. The RSDM-GeoSci workshop brings together experts in geospatial data management solutions to promote effective uses of data management technologies and increase the value of remote sensing data. Aaron Kaulfus (ST11) presented on the technologies utilized by the Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) Program data management team for the management of petabyte scale data from disparate data sources and the user services being developed to support the science community.
