On 3/8/23, the Interagency Implementation and Advance Concepts Team (IMPACT), in collaboration with Indiana University (IU) and ESA, successfully transferred 5.7PB of data in approximately 1 month. This large-scale data transfer effort has been ongoing for just over a year, with the team openly developing and releasing the transfer framework and documentation. The success of this transfer marks an important milestone in NASA’s ability to share large data files efficiently and effectively.
