Dennis Gallagher, Athiray Panchapakesan, and Mitzi Adams (ST13) participated in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Scout Day on 3/18/23. For the event, the three staffed a “NASA Table”, handing out lithos, stickers, tattoos, eclipse-information sheets, and answering questions. Throughout the day, Gallagher demonstrated what conditions are like in space with a vacuum-chamber and Adams gave two oral presentations on the Sun and the 2023 and 2024 eclipses. The activity day audience size inside the Saturn V Hall was 1,982. This event will be repeated on 9/16/23.
