Deborah Smith (UAH/IMPACT) co-convened a session at the Winter ESIP virtual meeting on January 25, 2023 with Sara Lubkin of NASA Earth Science Data and Information Systems (ESDIS) and Michele Thornton of the Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC). This session shared findings and recommendations from the March 2022 NASA Airborne and Field Data Workshop and had participants contribute ideas for one of the recommendations derived from workshop feedback, the construction of an airborne and field resource center for the Earthdata website. Open science data needs and SPD-41a guidance were discussed and suggested as content for the new online resource center.
