At the conclusion of NASA’s assessment of Federal agency satellite data needs, each agency that submitted a survey receives an assessment report containing analysis of their satellite need and a list of resources that help meet the need–including current and upcoming satellite missions, specific data products, training resources, and newly proposed activities. The NASA-led tri-agency assessment teams will collaboratively write these assessment reports using the Report Generation Tool (RGT), which was adapted from the Algorithm Publication Tool (APT) by contractor DevelopmentSeed. RGT is being introduced to SNWG assessment participants via three workshops led by Anita LeRoy. The first workshop on 1/31 was attended by ~35 participants across NASA, NOAA, and USGS, and additional workshop sessions are scheduled for 2/6 and 2/14.
