Presentations at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting

The AGU Fall Meeting was held in San Francisco, CA, on 12/11-15/23. Heidi Haviland (ST13) contributed to a presentation at the conference on probing the lunar interior given in person by ST13 Summer intern Zack Carter (Univ. of Utah): “Identifying Large Transients within ARTEMIS Solar Wind Data for Nightside Time Domain Electromagnetic Sounding.” Haviland also co-chaired and co-convened the session: “To the Moon: A New Era of Lunar Science—Current Missions (P31B, Wednesday morning orals)”.

Both were well received by the conference participates and a reporter from Nature asked to interview Haviland following the session to discuss more about how scientists are preparing for the upcoming Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) lunar surface deliveries. This interview was delegated by the CLPS Public Affairs to Joel Kearns.
