Ronan Lucey (UAH) was an invited guest lecturer for a master's level Geomatics course at the National University of Colombia on 2/13/24. Mr. Lucey presented virtually in a blend of English and Spanish to approximately 30 students regarding two important topics - first, how NASA data in general can be accessed, analyzed and used for a variety of applications, and second, more specifically how NASA Disasters Program event specific data and near real time data feeds can be accessed, analyzed and used for informed decision making as well as for research applications. The talk was well received by both the students as well as the department faculty in attendance.
