As part of his NASA ROSES grant to support the SERVIR West Africa Hub, Pontus Olofsson (ST11) taught a workshop in Accra, Ghana, during the week of 11/13/23. The main topics of the workshop included monitoring of environmental change by time series analysis of Landsat data on Google Earth Engine, and sampling-based estimation of map accuracy and areas of environmental change. The workshop participants represented organizations in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal.
