Pontus Olofsson (ST11) attended the annual meeting of the NASA’s Land, Atmosphere Near-real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) User Working Group on 6/21-22/23. On 6/21/23, Olofsson gave a presentation to the User Working Group about the Satellite Needs Working Group (SNWG) and the responsibilities of the IMPACT/SNWG Management Office. Of importance to LANCE is the assessment of the Federal Agencies' Earth Observations needs identified in the 2022 SNWG survey. Olofsson discussed with the User Working Group how future near real-time solutions could be distributed via LANCE.
