On 6/29/23, an IEEE GRSS webinar titled "VEDA: A NASA Open-Source Platform for Geosciences," featured a presentation by Aimee Barciauskas (IMPACT/DevelopmentSeed), who showcased the VEDA project and its functionalities. Barciauskas also conducted hands-on sessions and demonstrations during the webinar. The webinar was moderated by Brian Freitag (ST11/IMPACT) and organized by the Earth Science Informatics Technical Committee chaired by Manil Maskey (ST11/IMPACT). Over 300 individuals registered for the event, which concluded with discussions on the application of VEDA within the GRSS communities. A recording of the webinar will be made available on the IEEE GRSS YouTube channel.
