The Algorithm Publication Tool (APT) recently implemented a new workflow that allows users to submit completed Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents (ATBDs) in PDF format. This new workflow aims to provide users with more flexibility to create ATBDs, while still maintaining a standardized structure. APT provides users with three ATBD template formats that have been standardized including Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and LaTeX. Furthermore, existing historical ATBDs can more easily be added to the APT repository using this PDF upload workflow. Uploaded ATBDs will be searchable and downloadable in APT’s public repository.
