The IMPACT Team Presented Initial Progress on Data Systems for U.S. Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Center to NASA Headquarters

Manil Maskey (ST11), of the Interagency Implementation and Advance Concepts Team (IMPACT), leads the team responsible for developing the data system for the U.S. Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Center (GHG Center). Working alongside government partners from NOAA, NASA, EPA, and NIST, the team quickly deployed and configured the Visualization, Exploration and Data Analysis (VEDA) platform for the GHG Center, providing basic capabilities. The team demonstrated the capabilities including greenhouse gas relevant datasets and discoveries at a recent HQ stakeholder meeting. The team also provided updates on document preparation and data product stewardship activities. The public launch of the GHG Center is scheduled for August 2023.
