SPORT Satellite Receives Science Data from Multiple Instruments

The Scintillation Prediction Observations Research Task (SPORT) satellite is continuing to make progress with the spacecraft (s/c) commissioning and instrument procedures.  Science data from all four science experiments have been received, and all data (to date) indicate that the science instruments are working as expected.  The s/c executed the sequence of commands to deploy the final experiment boom, and the SPORT team is now analyzing the data to ascertain this boom’s deployment state.  The next major milestone is to put the s/c back into 3-axis stabilization and to perform calibration maneuvers.  The instrument scientists are continuing to analyze their data using s/c and environmental parameters.
