At the 2023 kickoff meeting of the NASA DRIVE Science Center during 5/4-5/23, Manil Maskey (ST11) from the Interagency Implementation and Advance Concepts Team (IMPACT) delivered a presentation on the artificial intelligence initiative of the Science Mission Directorate. These centers, known as Diversify, Realize, Integrate, Venture, Educate (DRIVE) Science Centers, go beyond the capabilities of individual investigators or small teams by fostering coordinated and synergistic efforts. Their aim is to pursue ambitious and achievable breakthrough science. Following the presentation, Maskey engaged in a Q&A session where he discussed the integration and adoption of AI within the framework of the DRIVE science centers.
