Manil Maskey (IMPACT/ST11) met with the DOJ Civil Rights Division Artificial Intelligence Working Group lead to offer information about NASA Science Mission Directorate’s AI initiatives and on potential civil rights implications. The DOJ AI working group is focused on the intersections of AI and civil rights. One of the goals of the DOJ effort is to identify artificial intelligence initiatives in other agencies in order to develop mutually beneficial interagency partnerships and share our civil rights expertise.
