SERVIR Applied Sciences Team (AST) Exchange held in Huntsville

The SERVIR Science Coordination Office convened a SERVIR Applied Science Team (AST) Global Exchange during 5/10-12/22 in Huntsville, Alabama.  Principal Investigators (PIs) from many of the 20 current AST Teams were able to travel to the event in person, as well as some Co-Investigators/Collaborators, and others participated virtually.  Co-PIs from the SERVIR hubs joined sessions virtually each day, as well. The purpose of the meeting was to foster synergy across the teams, share lessons learned and best practices, and explore innovations in the use of Earth observation information across SERVIR regions and thematic areas to address global development challenges. This is the third and final year for this group of ASTs and this meeting was essential to urge the PIs to finish their key milestones on time to avoid any future conflict in resources available at the SERVIR Hubs.
