On 5/2/21, the Chandra Operations Control Center (OCC) celebrated the second anniversary of continuous mission operations at its new location in Burlington, MA. The original Chandra OCC was located in Cambridge, MA, which was home to spacecraft operations from pre-launch in the late 1990’s to May 2019. The successful relocation was an 18 to 24 month process resulting in a seamless transition of operations with no interruptions of operational capability. The new facility continues to contribute to the superlative success of the Chandra mission.
