HI-C Flare is part of a planned campaign that includes three solar physics payloads. The Hi-C instrument is optimized for detecting high temperature flare lines. In February, the Hi-C Flare White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) integration and testing was completed. Final turn-on tests were performed following the post-vibe subsystem checks. The payload was repressed to low vac, packing was completed, and the payload was safely loaded into the container and enclosed in a bag purged with air.
