During the 104th Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society the NASA Short-term Prediction Research and Transition (SPoRT) Center held three sessions within the 14th Conference on Transition of Research to Operations. The sessions "Accelerating the Transition of NASA Science and Capabilities to Applications through the NASA SPoRT Center" highlighted presentations about SPoRT's history, research, products and modeling, and applications. A special presentation was given by Gary Jedlovec, a founding member of SPoRT, on SPoRT's history and influence on the research to operations community over the last 20+ years. SPoRT team members and stakeholders presented over 20 presentations and posters during the sessions.
