Work continues on the Mirror Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) upgrades at the XRCF. Testing of the Initial Electron Impact Point Source (EIPS) high voltage power supply interface was performed on 7/13/23. This system will allow remote operation of the facility x-ray source. Planning and preparations for the next Metrology Demonstration Test (MDT-2) are underway, including testing of a composite material selected for new components of the metrology system.
