Solar Orbiter Papers Published in Astronomy & Astrophysics

Alphonse Sterling (ST13) is co-author on a paper in Astronomy and Astrophysics (A&A), entitled: “Small-scale EUV features as the drivers of coronal upflows in the quiet Sun," which is led Conrad Schwanitz of ETH Zürich and of PMOD/WRC, Switzerland. This paper is a contribution to an A&A special issue on “Solar Orbiter First Results (Nominal Mission Phase),” and studies a feature observed in EUV with Solar Orbiter data, in combination with data from other satellites.  The paper is available at: https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2023A%26A...674A.219S/abstract

He is also co-author on a paper in Astronomy and Astrophysics (A&A), entitled: “The source of unusual coronal upflows with photospheric abundance in a solar active region," which is led by Louise Harra of PMOD/WRC and of ETH Zürich, Switzerland. This paper is a contribution to an A&A special issue on “Solar Orbiter First Results (Nominal Mission Phase),” and studies a feature observed in EUV with Solar Orbiter data, in combination with data from other satellites.  The paper is available at: https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2023A%26A...675A..20H/abstract
