The Visualization, Exploration, and Data analysis (VEDA) Project Releases Dashboard v0.8.0

On 5/8/23, the VEDA project released its latest Dashboard (v0.8.0) that revamped the user interface for the VEDA System. All VEDA datasets that are published to the Dashboard can now be accessed via a data catalog with search capabilities, filters, and sorting. Additionally, VEDA Discoveries have been merged into a Discoveries Hub for quick access and browsing. Previous VEDA versions organized datasets and discoveries by thematic area, which was effective for initial use cases. As VEDA grows its data catalog, improving accessibility and searchability allows users to more quickly engage and explore NASA Earth data. This release was a product of stakeholder feedback, dedicated development work, and thoughtful design. All release documentation is publicly available and can be found on GitHub at: https://github.com/NASA-IMPACT/veda-config/releases.
