Invited Plenary Speaker at the GAGE/SAGE Workshop in Pasadena

Heidi Haviland was invited to be a plenary speaker at the Geodetic Facility for the Advancement of Geoscience (GAGE) and the Seismological Facility for the Advancement of Geoscience (SAGE) GAGE/SAGE Community Workshop, run by the EarthScope Consortium, and funded by NSF. This workshop was held 3/27-29/23 took place at the Pasadena Convention Center in East Los Angeles, California. The workshop discusses cutting edge geophysical research in solid earth, cryosphere, oceans, atmosphere, and other planet processes and highlights synergies between geodetic and seismic communities and datasets. The workshop facilitates geodetic and seismic scientific research through sharing results, fostering community, and professional development.

On Wednesday, in the New Opportunities and Future Directions Session, Haviland gave a talk titled, “Future Lunar Geophysical Mission Opportunities including the Lunar Geophysical Network, Artemis, and CLPS.” This session was chaired by Mark Panning (JPL) and Peter James (Baylor).
