Chandra has successfully completed all data collection activities needed to assess the potential future use of the High Resolution Camera (HRC) for science observing using the HRC A-Side Central Electronics Assembly (CEA). Real-time HRC operational procedures were executed on 7/5/22, 8/1/22, 8/25/22 and 9/20/22 with HRC A-side electronics and Micro Channel Plates (MCP) to collect data (science and telemetry). All procedures executed nominally. The HRC team is analyzing the data and working to evaluate a new paradigm of operational constraints for out-of-comm HRC science in the future.
