Paper Accepted for Publication in Solar Physics

The article “Polarization Accuracy Verification of the Chromospheric LAyer SpectroPolarimeter", by Donguk Song (KASI) has been accepted for publication in the journal Solar Physics.  The article describes the determination of the response matrix of the CLASP2 sounding rocket experiment, through a combination of pre-flight calibration and in-flight observations of quiet Sun at the solar disk center.  The response matrix in the Mg II h & k lines is found to be nearly ideal, with scale and crosstalk terms close to 1 and 0, respectively; and the polarization sensitivity is found to be approximately 0.1% at the 3-sigma level.  MSFC co-authors are David McKenzie, Ken Kobayashi, Amy Winebarger, and Genevieve Vigil (ST13).
