On 6/1/22, Adam Kobelski and Mitzi Adams (ST13) along with Chuck Higgins (Middle Tennessee State University Professor) and his student Ian Alcox made presentations to 33 students ranging in age from five to twelve at the Ardmore Boys and Girls Club. Three groups of eleven each rotated between demonstrations/presentations of a spectroscope and spectroscopy, a solar telescope and “safe” solar viewers, and a radio telescope and radio astronomy. All students received a NASA sticker and other NASA information. The plan is to visit them again with different presentations/demonstrations related to heliophysics.
