The HLS data production team led by NASA IMPACT is responsible for the acquisition of Landsat-8/9 and Sentinel-2A/B data and the production of the HLSL30 and HLSS30 harmonized data products that allow for data from the two sensors to be used interchangeably. The team recently completed the historical processing of the Landsat component of the HLS data products (HLS30). The HLSL30 data product is now available from April 11, 2013 - present and consists of 7.7M granules. One of the primary uses for HLS data is for time-series analysis of the land surface and the completion of the HLSL30 historical processing now offers 9 years of data at 30-meter resolution for land surface monitoring and applications.
