Presentations at the Open-Source Science for Data Processing and Archives Workshop

Manil Maskey and Kaylin Bugbee (ST11) participated and presented at the Open-Source Science for Data Processing and Archives Workshop on 10/14/21.  The workshop is part of the NASA Open-Source Science Initiative (OSSI) with the objective of providing a forum for science data providers, stewards, and partners to find out more details and ask questions about all the activities that are currently underway.

Maskey discussed the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiatives and highlighted the current progress.  Bugbee discussed the SMD Data Catalog effort along with the status and outlined future plans.  Maskey led breakout sessions on AI/ML and analysis ready data in the cloud, whereas Bugbee led a breakout session on the science platform. The workshop was attended by over 300 participants.
