On 7/8/21, Colleen Wilson-Hodge participated in the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Tours sponsored by Jacobs Space Exploration Group (JSEG). This was part of a virtual tour series that covers a wide array of mission-essential NASA Projects. Wilson-Hodge, NASA Principal Investigator for NASA Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM), and JSEG GBM Operations Manager, Lisa Gibby, provided a virtual tour of GBM's Science and Operations. The presentation included a brief introduction to gamma-ray astronomy and how NASA’s Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope enables physicists to study the large explosions in the universe, in addition to other interesting astrophysical events.
