Hinode X-ray Solar Eclipse Observations

The Hinode satellite captured a beautiful sequence of images as the moon passed four times between the spacecraft and the Sun on 6/10/21.  Its X-Ray Telescope (XRT) observes the atmosphere of the full Sun and features high temperature active regions that are eclipsed by the moon both partially and almost fully annular.  The movie of these events are featured at:
