On 4/20/21, the Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT) hosted IBM Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, Sukriti Sharma. Sharma presented an overview of IBM’s natural language processing (NLP) technologies. The presentation highlighted the use of Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) to build vectors from English queries and graph convolutions to optimize search results.
