On 4/14/23, the Chandra X-ray Observatory public engagement team joined NASA Marshall Space Flight Center community relations group to staff exhibits during the 2023 Student Launch “Rocket Fair”. Over 1000 spectators attended the fair with several hundred stopping by the NASA exhibit area to learn more about science missions and rocket propulsion. The Chandra X-ray Observatory team, consisting of Jodi Turk and Sue Starek, assisted in engaging the public in discussions of Chandra’s mission history, sonification of data, and science.
