Chandra’s public engagement coordinator, Kirk Pierce, supported Marshall Space Flight Center’s public engagement team during the 2023 Alabama “Space Days” in Montgomery, AL on 4/10/23. State representatives, Ben Harrison (District 2) and Parker Moore (District 4) stopped by the NASA area to discuss MSFC’s programs and projects. Additionally, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth were presented with flown Artemis I flags. Several school groups and state representative staffers came by to learn more about MSFC’s future space exploration plans.
