Chandra Virtual Field Trip Featured in NASA Express STEM Newsletter

Chandra’s virtual field trip registration is featured in the 9/29/22 issue of the NASA Express STEM weekly newsletter. Chandra, in conjunction with SAO, invites educators of all grade levels to take their students on a virtual field trip with astrophysics subject matter experts. The virtual field trip allows participants to have a backstage pass to Chandra’s Operations Control Center, tour the Chandra spacecraft through virtual reality and take a virtual field trip to some exploding starts in our own galaxy. As NASA’s premier X-ray telescope, Chandra gives us a powerful tool to investigate energetic regions of the universe, from black holes to exploding stars, colliding galaxies, and more.
