The Chandra X-ray Center (CXC) conducted a virtual peer review in the last weeks of June of proposals submitted for the twenty-fourth cycle of general observations with the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Observing proposals were reviewed by topical review panels.
A total of 154 of proposals were accepted, with 39 as joint observatory time proposals and 10 to collect new Chandra results that will support future JWST observation proposals. The resulting selections were announced on 7/26/2022 in the form of an approved target list posted on the CXC website.
