Dai-Hai Ton That, Muthukumaran Ramasubramanian, and Nishan Panta (IMPACT) organized an IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing (GRSS) workshop on Remote Sensing Data Management Technologies at the National Space Science Technology Center (NSSTC), University of Alabama in Huntsville on 6/24/22. During the workshop Manil Maskey and Aaron Kaulfus (ST11/IMPACT) gave keynote talks on “Data System Evolution” and “The NASA Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) Program Cloud Native Data System” respectively. Organized as a hybrid event, the goal of the workshop was to bring together a research community to review the state of art in data management tools and understand the application requirements.
