IMPACT Releases Beta Version of pyQuARC Service

In June 2022, the IMPACT team deployed a beta version of the QuARC tool to the AWS cloud so that it may be used by the community as an open service. pyQuARC is a python library being developed by the Analysis and Review of the Common Metadata Repository (ARC) team out of IMPACT to automatically detect issues in CMR metadata. This service, which is simply referred to as QuARC, sits on top of pyQuARC and is consumed as an API that allows users to provide either a concept id from the NASA CMR or a formatted metadata file which are then automatically assessed using the criteria developed by the ARC team. Deployment of this service was led by IMPACT team member Slesa Adhikari (UAH). Providing the tool as a service is expected to expand usage by the community by providing a seamless access to the most recent version of pyQuARC and promote API integration with metadata applications. This version of the tool is available at https://quarc.nasa-impact.net/docs/ and future releases with enhanced capabilities are planned.
