IMPACT team member Deborah Smith (UAH) presented a brief introduction and demonstration of the Algorithm Publication Tool (APT) to scientists at the 2022 NASA Land Discipline Team Virtual Workshop held on April 11-12, 2022. The APT is a web-based application that streamlines the authoring, management, and discovery of Algorithm Theoretical Basis Documents (ATBDs). Scientists on the Land Discipline Team are required to develop ATBDs for their data products and are one of the first groups that will use the APT to author the ATBDs. In addition to introducing the tool to these key stakeholders, the demonstration provided a means for team discussion about the ATBD authoring process.
