Paper Published in Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems (JATIS)

The paper “Extreme-ultraviolet Characterization for Atmospheric Physics and Evolution mission: motivation and overview” was published in JATIS on 12 February 2022.  Lead author is Kevin France (CU-Boulder/LASP), with ST13’s David McKenzie and Sabrina Savage, and ES23’s Patrick Champey as co-authors.  The article introduces the ESCAPE mission, and describes its scientific motivation to study the habitability of rocky exoplanets, the mission concept, and the ESCAPE observatory design.
