ROSES Grant Writing Workshop Hosted by the Marshall Early-Career Organization

The Marshall Early-Career Organization (MECO) hosted a one-hour introductory workshop on writing grant proposals in response to NASA ROSES solicitations. The workshop was organized by Patrick Duran (ST11) of the MECO Council and presented by Christina Richey of JPL. The “tips and tricks” presentation, targeted toward early-career scientists, included guidance on best practices for grant writing, along with information on how the ROSES solicitation and selection process works. The virtual workshop was attended by 49 scientists and engineers from Marshall and was followed by a question-and-answer session. MECO plans to host a more comprehensive, hands-on workshop in the spring, at which Marshall scientists will have an opportunity to get in-depth guidance on proposal writing from Richey.
