IMPACT’s Presence at the American Geophysical Union’s Fall Meeting

At this year’s hybrid American Geophysical Union (AGU) fall meeting, twenty-four members of IMPACT attended in-person or virtually to represent their respective IMPACT projects on December 13th through 17th in New Orleans, LA. In total, 10 posters, 6 e-Lightening posters, and 12 oral presentations were presented online or at the event. Six sessions were also convened by Manil Maskey, Kaylin Bugbee, Aaron Kaulfus, Muthukumaran Ramasubramanian, and Iksha Gurung.

Kaylin Bugbee  convened three sessions on the 17th of December, 2021  entitled “Advancing Open Science: Stewardship to Enable Cross-Disciplinary, Collaborative Science.” The sessions fostered discussion around data stewardship best practices to accelerate open science and encouraged cross-disciplinary collaboration between the Earth sciences, planetary sciences and heliophysics. The session was co-convened with Emily Law (CalTech JPL) and Emily Foshee (University of Alabama in Huntsville).
