Manil Maskey (ST11/IMPACT) was the keynote speaker at the ACM SIGSPATIAL workshop on 11/2/21. His talk titled “AI Meets Data Systems: Transforming Data Search”, discussed NASA’s effort to utilize data-driven approaches to enhance data documentation and search. The workshop was held virtually to bring researchers together to discuss the art of search engine construction with both geospatial data modeling and data processing. Maskey interacted with other speakers during the workshop regarding potential future collaborations.
