Journal Paper Published in Remote Sensing

Jeanné le Roux from Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT), is a lead author on a journal article entitled “Exploring the Use of PlanetScope Data for Particulate Matter Air Quality Research,” which was published in the journal Remote Sensing, July 2021. le Roux collaborated with Sundar Christopher (University of Alabama in Huntsville) and Manil Maskey (ST11/IMPACT) on her research that assesses geolocation consistency of PlanetScope data and compares PlanetScope and MODIS spectral signatures over different land cover types, under varying particulate matter conditions, and under varying aerosol optical depth conditions. The PlanetScope data for le Roux’s research was provided by the Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition program.
