On 6/9/21, SERVIR was invited to present their Gender and Social Inclusion activities to the bi-monthly Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity Leaders’ Meeting convened by NASA Associate Administrator Steve Shih. The presentation focused on how SERVIR integrates gender and social inclusion into their work through their global gender strategy. SERVIR works to support women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) career paths as well as ensure gender is integrated into the geospatial services that the SERVIR network develops. These activities represent the Unity Campaign in action and NASA’s core value of inclusion.
