American Astronomical Society (AAS) Solar Physics Division Meting Talk

David McKenzie (ST13) presented an oral talk at the annual meeting of the Solar Physics Division (SPD) of the AAS, entitled “Mapping of Solar Magnetic Fields from the Photosphere to the Top of the Chromosphere with CLASP2”.  The talk summarized the groundbreaking results of the CLASP2 mission, which simultaneously measured magnetic field strengths in multiple layers of the Sun’s atmosphere, and briefed the audience on the upcoming preflight planned for October 2021.  McKenzie also attended the Division’s leadership committee meeting and presented at the Division’s business meeting, as SPD Treasurer.
