The Brazilian Technical Institute for Aeronautics (ITA) is working on software development of the SPORT Engineering Model (EM) in preparation for instruments acceptance in Brazil. They are working with the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) to perform X-Band link test with Cachoeira Paulista to validate the science data download. They finished assembling the Flight Model (FM) printed circuits boards (PCB); they are now working to finalize cables. The FM structure is being chemically treated (application of Alodine) and will be ready by this week or early next week. The US instruments have been shipped to Brazil for integration.
